Public Contracts Scotland, the Government procurement body, is inviting bids to rebuild one of the Gaelic websites. The notice reads as follows:
“Seirbheis nam Meadhanan Gaidhilg, Scotland’s Gaelic media service, is responsible for BBC Alba (in partnership with the BBC); Film G, the digital participation project; and LearnGaelic, the Gaelic learners’ website, in collaboration with Bord na Gaidhlig, Sabhal Mor Ostaig, Bord na Ceiltis (Alba) and others.
“MG Alba invites bids to re-design the LearnGaelic website.
“LearnGaelic was established in 2011 to support learners of Scottish Gaelic and describes itself as ‘a first stop for everyone interested in learning Scottish Gaelic.’
