Apply For A Grant
The Royal Celtic Society gives financial assistance to organisations, events and activities that support or develop the Society’s charitable objectives.
These are available either as once only donations for a particular project, or annually for projects that are ongoing. Annual grants are reviewed on a triennial basis.
If you have a project that you think would benefit from our help, please write to the Secretary with full details, including a business plan, making it clear how you think the Society might become involved. Please ensure, before making such an application, that your activity is in line with our stated objectives.
Please be aware that demand for such assistance is high and only a small proportion of applications are successful. Great care is taken to ensure the Society’s grants are expended where they are likely, in the Council’s judgement, to make the greatest difference, so any rejection should not be interpreted as a comment on your proposal.
